In the first week of our Engage 2023 Bible reading plan, we read the first 11 chapters of Genesis. We saw the story of creation, with God creating human kind in his perfect image, only to have them squander away paradise with sin. We saw the flood, with God showing both his wrath and faithfulness. In light of our first week of reading, we want to give the Cstone fam an opportunity to connect with one another. Feel free to discuss how you would like, but we thought it might be helpful if we started with a couple prompts.

1. What did you notice about the stories of creation and the flood? Are there any details that stood out to you that maybe you haven’t noticed before?

2. How can we as followers of Christ be like Noah? Noah was told to take on this massive project that seemed impossible, yet he stood tall in his faith and would not be faltered.

3. How did you do with your bible reading plan? Did you fall behind or find it hard to remember to stay committed everyday?
