Leadership and the 10 Commandments

In this weeks’ reading, we are introduced to the 10 Commandments. The first commandment is you shall have no other gods before me. Another translation is you shall have no other gods “before my face”. In what ways do you prioritize God and keep Him before your face?

The Israelites experienced God’s provision and protection as they left Egypt. And again when God supplied quail and manna for them to eat in the wilderness. What testimony do you have of God’s protection and provision in your life?

When Amalek attacked the Israelites, Moses told Joshua to gather some men and go fight. Moses held up his staff, but his arms grew tired and when the staff lowered, the Amalekites prevailed, so Aaron and Hur positioned Moses on a rock and then held up his arms. What does this show us about the importance of teams or supporting the leadership that God has given us?
